The Collective

Who we are

The Collective is a partnership of Lived and Living Experience (LLE) agencies:

  • Harm Reduction Victoria
  • VMIAC (Victorian peak body for consumers of mental health services)
  • Tandem (Victorian peak body for family, carers and supporters in mental health
  • CLEW (Carer Lived Experience Workforce)
  • SHARC – Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (the lead agency)

Our Purpose

Our team is led by people with Lived and Living Experience. We use our Lived Expertise to build understanding, connection, and strength across the lived and living experience workforces to drive meaningful change.

Together, we support the Lived and Living Experience Workforces (LLEW) through discipline-specific:

  • Training and education
  • Workforce development opportunities (Communities of Practice)
  • Access to supervision
  • LLEW University Scholarship Program
  • CLEW Membership
  • Events and Forums

Upcoming Trainings

Understanding, Valuing, and Supporting Lived and Living Experience Workforces.

This training is for non-LLEWs who want to better understand and work with their LLEW colleagues in a mental health clinical setting.
