Have your say: Peer Cadet and Pilot Placement Program evaluation

Were you involved in the Peer Cadet Program or Pilot Placement Program?

SHARC is currently evaluating the Victorian Government-funded Peer Cadet Program (PCP) and Pilot Placement Program (PPP), and we want to hear from people who took part between 2021 and 2026 as part of completing a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work.

This includes people who participated in either program or applied to take part.

Your experience matters. What you tell us will help build a clearer picture of what worked, what didn’t, and what could be improved in future peer workforce training, placement and early-career programs. We want to hear a range of experiences and perspectives.

There are different ways to contribute, including a survey and/or participation in a paid interview, focus group or creative activity.

Responses are open until 5pm, 23 October 2026.

Please share this post or link with anyone you know who applied for or participated in the PCP or PPP. We want to hear from as many people involved in these programs over the past few years as possible.
