The Self Help Addiction Resource Centre (SHARC) has been appointed to establish and host the Australian Hub of Intentional Peer Support (IPS). IPS is an alternative approach and works to enrich localised models of peer support. IPS has operated globally for many years across sectors and presents an important vehicle to embrace cross-sectorial collaboration and mutual growth.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to work in sustaining and evolving IPS operations in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity that requires an IPS trained individual to work with the IPS community towards the development of IPS Australia.

Position Overview

  • The IPS Australia Hub Worker will work to sustain and evolve IPS operations in Australia.
